RubyOur monthly General Membership Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursdayof the month General Membership meetings begin at 7:00 p.m.  
We meet at the American Legion Hall, El Dorado Post 119, located at 4561 Greenstone Road (between Highway 50 and Mother Lode Drive), near El Dorado.  Map to American Legion Hall

Junior Rockhound Program: Top of page
Junior Rockhound meetings are usually held on the 2nd Thursday except during the summer break. This month's Junior meeting will be on Thursday, February 12, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Please RSVP so that we will have enough activity supplies and refreshments on hand.   More about Junior Program & Education  
Lapidary & Jewelry Arts: Top of page
Lapidary Workshops are held at the Senior Center, 937 Spring St. on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 6:30 - 9:00 p.m., and 5th Wednesday when it occurs. Workshops are open to everyone who has passed Lapidary Certification (you may sign up for Certification Classes during any General Meeting).

Jewelry Arts Classes are held at the Wheeldon Center, 312 Main St., on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays (or as scheduled), 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Sign up for classes is required.

Lapidary Workshops are held in the lapidary room
at the Senior Center, 937 Spring Street, Placerville

are held at our office and meeting facility at the
*Wheeldon Center, 312 Main Street, Suite 202, Placerville.

*On October 30, 2013, the society named this facility
"The Wheeldon Center" in recognition of
George Wheeldon's influence and continuing education
 of earth sciences that he provides to both our
society members and the community.
